Renewal of Commitment during Paspac
On the third of the Paspac assembly retreat days, Evening Prayer included groups of members coming forward to the Icon of Mary, Salus Populi Romani, to privately renew their commitment to keep alive the memory of the Passion --- the same image before which in the Church of Mary Major in Rome St Paul of the Cross first vowed as a layman to keep alive the memory of the Passion of Jesus and to gather companions to do the same.
Sending Forth of missionaries in the Paspac region
In a very moving ceremony the Father General, surrounded by his Council, commissioned Jefferies, Francisco and Thomas as missionaries in the Paspac region in the name of Jesus Crucified, in the name of the Church, in the name of St Paul of the Cross and all the Passionist Saints, and in the name of the Passionist Family.
Father General says goodbye
Father Ottaviano CP, and four of his six Consultors, left the PASPAC Assembly for Rome on Thursday 22nd September.
